Study in Dubai 2026: Branch-Campus Degrees, Fees & Student Visa for Indian Students

Dubai lets Indian students earn degrees from UK, Australian and Indian universities at their international branch campuses — a two-to-four-hour flight from home, with a large Indian community and direct access to the GCC job market. Tuition is roughly AED 35,000–90,000+ a year, and your university sponsors your student residence visa.

Which Universities Have Campuses in Dubai?

Well-known options include the University of Birmingham Dubai, Heriot-Watt University Dubai, Middlesex University Dubai, the University of Wollongong in Dubai, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus and Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai. Branch campuses award the parent university's degree, but always confirm the accreditation and recognition of your specific program.

How Much Does It Cost?

Tuition generally ranges from about AED 35,000 to over AED 90,000 a year depending on the university and course. Rent is the biggest living cost; shared accommodation in areas popular with students keeps it manageable. There is no income tax in the UAE, which matters once you start working.

How Does the Student Visa Work?

Your university sponsors a student residence visa after you accept your offer and pay the required fees. After arrival you complete a medical fitness test and receive your Emirates ID.

Can I Work After Graduating in Dubai?

Graduates switch to an employment visa once they have a job offer. The UAE also offers long-term Golden Visas to outstanding graduates who meet the academic criteria. Because you are already in the region, attending interviews with GCC employers is far easier than applying from India.

Should I Choose a Degree or a Job-Focused Program?

If you want a recognised degree, a branch campus is the route. If your priority is getting into an IT job in the Gulf quickly, Versa Global's IT Infrastructure Engineer Program takes 4.5–6 months, costs AED 23,500 including three certification exams, and comes with 100% job assurance — 60+ students have already been placed. When Are the Intakes?

September and January are the main intakes at most universities.
